Our range of compressor oils is made from synthetic oils which are designed to run longer and hotter, if required. They are all NSF approved and this replaces the old USDA H1 classification.

Food grade compressor oils need to function without the varnish build up typical of mineral oils. Changing to synthetic food grade oils will give you less maintenance work to do and will give you cost savings.

SHELL CASSIDA FLUID GL GEAR OILS

Shell Cassida Fluid GL are high performance, synthetic anti wear gear oils specially developed for the lubrication of enclosed gears in food and beverage food processing machinery.

They are often hidden away in the machinery and this makes them difficult to work on and service.

The synthetic food grade gear oils for worm, helical and straight cut gears from Shell have proved to be very good at making life easier for maintenance personnel and reducing the overall cost.

Quite simply, they last longer between service intervals.

SHELL CASSIDA VP100 VACUUM PUMP OIL
Synthetic Food grade vacuum pump oils are often used where food mixing requires the removal of air and excess moisture from the mixing vessel or other machine components.

Using synthetic vacuum pump oil means the almost total elimination of emulsification of the lubricant and much longer maintenance intervals.

Unlike many other oils, Shell Cassida Fluid VP is a food grade vacuum pump oil giving excellent lubrication at both high and low temperatures and is a cost effective way for you to improve the efficiency of the vacuum pump by maintaining a better seal between rotating components.
